『The World of Haegeum』 provides an in-depth introduction to the haegeum by explaining its history, structure, manufacturing process, various types of modified haegeum, East Asian haegeum instruments, and the notation and genre of traditional and modern haegeum music. It also contains detailed performance methods from the basic principles of performance to specialized special techniques so that beginners as well as performers and composers can refer to it.
It lowers the threshold to the 'world of haegeum' through abundant materials that vividly convey haegeum performances, such as over 130 videos and audio sources and over 70 photos and pictures, and English translations placed alongside Korean text.
